New HR21-DVr

Just hooked up a new HR21-DVR to switch out my HD20 hooked it up and not recieving all my HD channels and the C sat has very little or no signal. I'm replacing the cables tonight and see if that helps. TS is making a service call tomorrow unless the cables help. Sorry if this is a repeated post a newbie here.Any suggestions of what else I can do. The H20 was working perfect and I moved it to another room and it still works perfect and my other ones also.

Make sure you have plugged in the B-Band converters, little filter looking things hanging off the back of your H20, they should be in the box with your hr21. If they were already attached, swap tuner 1 on your hr21 with the one on sat-in in your h20.

if you are just not getting any image at all some HR21, wont transmit HDMI out of the box and you will need to do the setup with component cables (red, white yellow). then go back to HDMI

Service tech came out nothing wrong with the reciever it was the dish itself. The first version of the five lnb with the side car he said are having compatibility problems with the HR21. Replaced new dish and it works perfect. Thanks for the help

Never heard of that since I have a HR21-200 and the AT-9 sidecar dish and have no problems with the HR21.

Same her, AT-9 and a HR21-700.

Not one issue since I've had the DVR about 2 months now.
