new install

i just got dish with locals and hd installed monday, should i have gotten a new 1000.2 with my new install? it looks like i got a used 1000 dish. the picture seems ok, just wondering if it could be better and if i was supposed to get something different. sorry if this was already talked about on here somewhere. thanks
