SiriusXM has revealed its new channel lineup taking effect on Wednesday, May 4.

The new lineup consolidates many of the channels on the same number on both systems. Among the changes are the merger of Willie’s Place and The Roadhouse into one channel, the addition of Sirius Hits 1 and 20 on 20 to both services, and the move of Enlighten to Internet Only on the music side. Formerly XM Only The Power gains a spot on the Sirius lineup, the traffic/weather channels are trimmed from 12 to 8, and consolidation of Sirius Left and America Left into SiriusXM Left on the satellites with additional programming of SiriusXM Left Plus online.
No word on when the new leased channels will appear, but Channels 141 to 147 appear to be set aside from them. The new lineup also does not take into account any pending changes to the Canadian channels once the merger of Sirius Canada and XM Canada is complete. SiriusXM has a FAQ guide to all the changes here.

New SiriusXM Channel Lineup – RadioInsight

Thanks for the update!
Will have to let my dad know since he has XM in his truck and some of his favorites are changing numbers

Looks like they are dumping Enlighten to online only instead of dropping one of there 22+ rock crap stations that all sound the same. I gave my uncle my radio last year and cancelled the second radio when I got my iPod Touch to just stick with superior quality and sound of internet radio. Now that they are dropping the only channel he listens to instead of Pearl Jam crap, Lithium same crap, Bruice & GDead junk.

Also with the prices going up I can cancel what Sirius ruined. I use to praise XM and satellite radio but now it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Internet wireless radio is the future.

Yep, the rock stations were better when it was simply XM. Since Sirius bought them out their rock station library diminished to pretty much nothing, where every station plays the same songs every few hours

Humm...if I am looking at the new lineup card right no more Fox Sports radio on the XM side

Thats odd, I see Fox Sports has moved to 169, a bit weird seeing it is not with the other sports channels

Sounds like more bovine excrement to me...maybe they will get ride of that scumbag Stern and a few of the other low life skanks they have on Sirius...no wonder they are losing customers want to bet they raise the prices next.

They just signed him for 5 more years.

I told my uncle that they are dropping his favorite channel and it is okay because he said I can cancel the service May 5th. I hope they don't give me a hassle to cancel.

Like I said I use to love XM with it's variety and deep playlists until they had to approve the merger and I knew Sirius would ruin it. The 80s channel playlist is so tiny and repetitive I can't even listen to it for 10 minutes with it's same songs and annoying VJs.

Are you kidding? Stern saved Sirius. I wonder what they are going to do when he retires? That's what they need to worry about. They are going to lose millions of customers when that happens.

they'll offer 5 months for $20. My dad had a free 60 days xm in his truck. called to cancel, they offered 5 for $20 and he continued....5 months came up and he called to cancel. They actually canceled him and 2 days later they called him offering 5 for $20

his new one comes up end of may so he'll call and cancel again. He really doesnt need it but when they offer that rate he said he'll keep it for a while

After looking the two line ups over and analyzing them here’s some of my personal observations.

What’s cool now is at least Sirius is offering Spice Radio on the radio as opposed to internet only, even though it has been available on XM w/ Best of Sirius for quite some time now. And it would be nice of all the sports channels could be grouped together. I still don’t understand why Sirius doesn’t have Pop2K, The Groove, The Village and Cinemagic when XM does. Why Hits 1 and 20 on 20 are both in existence baffle me. Music channels like Caliente. The Verge, Air Musique, La Sur Route, Iceberg, CBC Radio 3 L’oasis and Latitude Franco should be in the Music portion of the line ups. Also to have The Virus on 105 on Sirius as well as opposed to 206 would be great.

Now only of they would combine the two billing systems, I'd be all set.

They no longer have the 5 for $20. They discontinued it due to subscribers. They do have a 5 for $25 but it's a one time offer. If you have ever had the 5 for $20 you still can't get the new package. The only one available now is 1 year for $77 if you have ever had a 5 month special.

If you go to siriusxm.com you can see the channel line up of both Sirius and xm. Only some of the channels are joining. Sirius still only has 150+ channels and XM has 170+ channels.
