New LNBF with scalar

I just got a Titanium C1W-PLL with a scaler. Do I use the new scalar ring or use the one that came with the dish?

If the one on the dish is in good shape I would just use the one that came with the dish. Most of the ones that came on dishes back then are more robust and tuned for the dish they are on.

I tried both when I got my C1WPLL and although they both performed pretty much the same, I ended up using the original scalar from my chap feed, it was easier to adjust than the one that came with the C1WPLL and like Michael said above, more robust.
