Has anyone had any experience with this scalar ring?

Should work to some extent, as long as your dish does NOT point directly at a 5g node, and the 5g is coming in mostly from the side.

You can likely make one yourself, with a metal screw band strap, and some sheet metal to make a skirt around your present feedhorn
