New Openbox S10 with Rolling Picture

I was given an S10 as a christmas present I finally today connected it and the picture is rolling like mad I've been doing some reading on this, but I haven't read anything that will guide me in what to do.
If Someone can suggest or help I woul very much appreciat it.

I assume you are hooking up via HDMI. If so easiest thing to do is hook it up via video (Yellow, red, White) temporarily. Video(yellow) is all you need if you just have a spare RCA cable laying around. From there bring up the menu and go to the TV system and change it to 1080i-60 instead of the -50 it defaults to. You don't have to change anything else. Then switch your Display back to HDMI and there you go.

Are you in 50Hz mode on a 60Hz TV?

then 2 right,ok 1down,ok, right until you see a picture

he must have to v.format. if he has an old standard tv the picture will roll like that if he is not in 480. charlie
