New to Direct Tv Satellite Dish Installation specific questions

I just jumped to Direct TV from Cable. I am curious to what type of satellite dish will be installed and how many Coax cables need to be installed between the dish and the SWM switch?

Mt new service will consist of the Main Genie, 3 Mini Genies and two regular HD Recievers (Perhaps the H25) 6 Boxes total.

I am installing some extra cables now and to get the cables to the correct mounting spot for the dish they have to be run through a very tight space in a cathedral cieling. I would like to have this all pre-run prior to the installer arriving.

Since you will have only 7 tuners, you will most likely get a Slimline dish with a swm lnb, not a swm switch. That means only one cable from the dish to your house.

If they did it the other way is the most two cables? I could always run an extra just in case. Does it make any difference being a DVD setup? Thanks!

If its the other way it would be 4 cables from dish and you mean DVR Setup? But since only 7 tuners, like raoul5788 said, it would be a SWM lnb. Installer wont install anything else unless needed.
