i got a new software update today, what did they update? i get mad when it down your icons and its take a few days to show back up

From the tech I spoke to earlier today, "it's just a bunch of bug fixes".

The only difference I can see is that now none of my VOD services work on my HR24-100.

same here, but when they do these update it might take few hours to redownload

In my case, few = 27. Update at 2:20 am 8/17, they were still not working at noon on 8/18, but they are now working @ 5pm. So, hooray. Just needed to have a bit more patience.

Usually they tell you to wait 24 hrs and if you have any issues after that, then report them.

Hmm nothing major it seems as I have had 0x4d1 since 7/29 and didn't even notice. same reliable speedy unit. everything still works
