new vbox 6

I just got this vbox positioner and it's been working okay, now when I go to certain satellite channels it moves back to a different satellite by its self if I'm on 91,99,103 channels it will go to 101. the box is programed thru the vbox remote.looks like just certain channels.

My vbox 6 has been working good so far for the last month

To avoid this problem you can select yr SAT list from yr receiver ,,,,If you are channel surfing,,it is normal it will move from sat to sat according to which channel you are viewing,,,,,I try avoiding channel surfing as it will usually shorten the life of yr reed sensor,,,,,,

thats the first thing I do ,I pick which satellite that I'll be looking through,for some reason turning to some channels in that satellite activate the positioner and it moves always to 101.I thought that maybe a setting on the receiver might be changed some way or another.My next step is to try a different receiver.I might have to default everything and start over which would be a lot of work.Is there a way that receiver is set somewhere to turn by itself.

In the receiver, do you have the motor set to off?
Sounds like the VBox is receiving some type of DiSEqC command.
