New Yorkers got the updated guide today

While the DVR now lets you choose the time increment to jump forward or back anwhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, FiOS has removed the ability to choose which channels to display in the program guide. And it still is slow to respond to remote-control commands. At least you can now turn captions on through the Menu, rather than having to turn the box off and pat your head while rubbing your tummy.
