NFL 2015-16 Season

God these RUSH jerzeys are UGLY ...
Aren't they all, & haven't they all been ugly? They need to combine color rush with exclusive streaming on Yahoo & a London game. 3 reasons NOT to watch a game combined(the 4th reason being 2 teams that NOBODY wants to watch playing each other).

Edit: Tonight's game is mustard pounding ketchup.

Ok, starting next season, ALL London games(required start time at 9am EST) must be exclusively broadcasted/streamed by Yahoo, with teams REQUIRED to wear Color Rush uniforms, telling the British, "You too, can have a NFL team of your very own."

As for never drafting Pouncey, why would you say that, he was the top linemen available at the time and didn't have a history of injury.
What exactly has he done for the Steelers except have his money count against the cap? He has been hurt every year. Except for Brown Tomlin hasn't drafted any player that is gonna be great. They are either bad, hurt or high.

I liked them. Something different without reinventing the team identities or anything.
You know, that Bills-Jets Color Rush game would have been a hoot if Vinnie Testaverde had still been playing for the Jets, because He's red-green color blind. But then again, he'd have clued them in about the problems with the two teams uniforms in advance, & maybe averted the disaster with the color blind fans. Of all the color rush games, that one was the most fun (to mock) because of the outrage from the color blind fans.

But man did they hit it out of the park with Brown (IMO, the best receiver in the game)!

With all the success the Patriots have had, they have absolutely SUCKED at drafting wide receivers! Other than Deion Branch, it's been bust after bust for 15 years!

And Brown is out of the MAC !
And not a really TOP team at that.

I predict that sometime in the game between the Broncos & the Steelers, that we'll see Trevor Siemian come in the game as QB for the Broncos. This will show how much of a mess the Broncos' offense truly is. If it were not for their defense, they'd be a lottery pick team(much to the Chiefs' dismay).

This game will be the height of irony, two teams who do not deserve the win-loss records that they have, the Broncos, who may still win their division(again, much to the Chiefs' dismay), & the Steelers, who are fighting to make the playoffs.

He's gonna want more than Bryant and megatron, I don't know if the Steelers will pay that.

The MAC is a great little conference that gets very little national exposure but can produce some great players. One of the hottest defensive players in the NFL right now is Khalil Mack. It was truly a joy watching him for four years here in Buffalo. During the same timeframe it was also fun watching Branden Oliver on the opposite side of the field ripping it up for almost 4100 yards and 35 TDs. Too bad Oliver is not experiencing the same level of success in San Diego as his former teammate is experiencing in Oakland. It should come as no surprise to anyone who follows Buffalo Bulls football to see Mack devouring quarterbacks every week.

I agree, there have been plenty of very good players come out of the MAC.

Dark horse prediction: Contrary to conventional wisdom(including my own predictions), the Broncos, & especially Brock Osweiler, will light up the Steelers defensive secondary & come away with a victory. Carrying over to next week, the Broncos will defeat the Bengals AND the Jets will defeat the Patriots.
The Broncos-Steelers game will be a classic example of the Broncos playing up or down to the level of their opponent.

Hmmmm, thought you said just the opposite earlier , what changed ?

Just a feeling, a cosmic joke being played on Steelers fans & Patriots fans. If the Broncos don't open Osweiler up to throw more, especially on long passes, my original prediction stands.

Brock Osweiler needs to complete deep passes for Broncos offense to succeed
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_29283050/depth-charge

When looking for reasons the Broncos lost to Oakland last week, Osweiler's performance ranks down on the list. Yet a trend exists that suggests Osweiler might only be keeping the seat warm for Manning.

One of Osweiler's greatest strengths is his arm. But, he's only 3-of-16 on passes of more than 20 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Two of those completions came on the same fourth-quarter drive against the Patriots. If he's not going to drive the ball down the field with success more often, it's fair to wonder whether a healthy Manning is a better option.

"Brock could have made the situation a lot more difficult had he played every game like the Patriots game," said former Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe, a Hall of Famer. "But he's going to have opportunities this week. This isn't exactly Murderer's Row you are facing (in the Pittsburgh secondary)."

The Steelers rank 31st in the NFL in pass defense, allowing 279 yards per game. They give up chunks but take gambles, as evidenced by their 14 interceptions.

If Osweiler continues to play "game manager," the Steelers win hands down. If Osweiler is allowed to throw long(& Demaryius Thomas & Vernon Davis both do the unthinkable & actually catch passes instead of dropping them), the Steelers could be in for a long game. The difference between a dull rout on the part of the Steelers against the Broncos & a close exciting game is how the Broncos allow Osweiler to play.

Broncos at Steelers: Brock Osweiler needs to sling it and two more things to know
http://www.milehighreport.com/2015/...brock-osweiler-needs-to-sling-it-and-two-more
1. Brock Osweiler needs to sling it

"The Broncos are going to have to score some points this weekend," Shapiro says. "The Pittsburgh Steelers are the hottest offensive team in the league right now. And despite the fact that the Broncos do have a really good defense and really good defensive backs, you have to assume the Steelers at home are going to put some points on the board. Which means the Broncos are going to have to put some points on the board. Which might mean the Broncos are going to have to let go of the reins on Brock Osweiler and let him sling the ball around the park a little bit."
