NFL 2025-2026 Season

I watched the play in Denver that was ruled as an interception. To me it looked like the Buffalo player caught the ball and it wasn't moving and his knee touched the ground before the defensive player stripped the ball from the receiver. It should have been ruled a completed catch. I think they should have looked at it more closely. I'm not a Bills or Broncos fan.

I think the officials got it right in the Bears/Rams game which was nearly identical to the play in the Bills and Broncos game. I'm not a Bears or a Rams fan.
I thought they should have looked at it regardless ...
They according to the Rule book, look at all scoring plays.
Are Turn overs Not in that section as well ????

They should be, what happens if its turned over in the endzone.

Calling the plays a catch or not is way to subjective to what you want to see ...

Back in the College game, Buckeyes WR J. Smith caught a ball, around the goal line, crossed the goal line .. (which makes it a TD as long as any part of the ball touches the Goal line) after crossing the goal line, bobled the ball (did Not Drop the ball ) and they wanted to call it a FUMBLE .... Say WHAT ????

It was called a TD as it should have been .... q. was, WHY would they think thats a FUMBLE, he didn't drop the ball ...

They said they did. It took about 5 seconds.

The Bills window might be closing. If the Pats are legit they will be in the mix going forward. This was their year to win a title. Allen won't be in his prime for much longer with the younger QBs coming up.
After watching many Pats games this year. I would say your 50/50. That easy schedule was in plain view yesterday.....Now play 3 or more real teams, you dont have a record close to that. Like the front line, I see a above average QB, who dosent throw bullets!

You think the game would be close next week if Bo Dix was in? You will see another good defense, see how the Pats offense does.

The next game was held up, kickoff was already delayed.

In the NFL a caught pass is defined as 2 feet and a football act - or 2 feet and surviving the ground. For the latter, you can't get 2 feet down and then drop the ball, or hit the ground and it bounces out - it's what you hear over and over every game - you must complete the process of the catch. That's essentially what happened here. There have certainly been consistency and transparency issues with 'what is a catch' but under the current rules there's nothing clear and obvious to demonstrate this was a catch in favor of the Bills.

All turnovers are confirmed by replay. If it's not clear and obvious then that triggers a full review.
