No they didn't. It was a turnover so it is always reviewed. There was nothing that required a full review so it wasn't triggered.
Because Adams established possession and his knee went down before the ball came out. In Buffalo there was no possession until after surviving the ground because he left his feet to get the ball.
He clearly caught the pass, rolled on the ground while still possessing the ball which means he was down with the ball. Then the defensive player stripped the ball away as as they both rolled over.
He never stablished possession because he lost the ball when he went to the ground. Just like someone toe tapping on the sideline as they fall down and don't complete the process by losing it when they hit the ground. You've gotta stop looking at still frames to pre-judge the outcome, because none of them show possession - because he never established it. The rules are clear.

When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame.
For a catch:
A) Secure control of the ball
B) Two feet down in bounds
C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so.
C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule:If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds.
Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

If there was no defender in this play and he lost the ball when he did (which has happened before) it would have been ruled incomplete.
He has to survive the ground and doesn't, it's very clear and not a difficult call.
Asked and answered a couple times now, yes, like scoring plays, turnovers are confirmed by replay.
If a closer look is needed, it will trigger a full review.
And yet, the exact same thing in LA/Chicago, the possessing team kept possession.
I'm sorry, he had possession, he hit the ground while being touched with the ball still in both hands. Play over.
For the Adams catch he didn't leave his feet, the process of the catch was complete and his knee went down before the ball came out.
That's not the exact same thing, Cooks never completed the process of the catch as he left his feet and as a result had to survive the ground - which he didn't.

In both instances it went to the first person to possess the ball and be down by contact, as it should have.

Completely different. This guy never even had a grip on the ball. Cooks had control of the ball. He never dropped it. It was ripped out of his hands AFTER he was down with the ball
Ripped out, dropped, thrown, abducted by aliens... he lost control before he completed the process of the catch, regardless of how it happened, grip on the ball, etc. Not completing the process means he never became a runner which means he was never down. He had to end his tumble on the ground with the ball - he didn't.
I honestly don't see what is unclear about this play. It's why you guys can't quote the rule or show comparable plays that prove it was a catch - it wasn't.
He lost control before completing the process - the Bronco gained possession during that process, making it an INT.

I brought that up, but apparently, McD had an equal voice to Beane, both of whom answered directly to Pegula. We'll know in a year if this was legbit or not
