I can't believe we have to wait till Saturday for the series to begin.

The question I am geting left and right is "Who would you rather face in the Conference Finals?" Naturally, with this Home Ice Advantage thing working the Kings' way it would be obvious to say Detroit. HOWEVER, I am just so damned happy to have the Kings back in the Conference Finals that I welcome either opponent. It should be a great series no matter the pairing.
As I said before, it only gets tougher now...

Congrats to the Kings on getting back to the Conference Final. San Jose made a game of things in the 3rd period.
Now, it's on to Chicago for tonight's Game 7 between the Blackhawks and Red Wings. I want to win this one!!!
NHL announced the scheduling scenarios for the conference finals. The eastern conference finals are all set and begin on Saturday at 8pm ET. As for the Western Conference Finals: If the Wings win tonight, Game 1 will be on Friday in LA at 9pm ET. If the Blackhawks win, Game 1 will be on Saturday at 5pm ET. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=672264&navid=nhl:topheads
Should be a good one tonight!!
I would have preferred to have seen the Wings win it at home the other night. Let's face it, the Wings are going to have a huge uphill battle winning Game 7 on-the-road in Chicago against, arguably, the best team in the league during the regular season. However....
I BELIEVE!!!
