What a game and what a series!!

I admit, I thought this series was gonna be a blowout, but the Sharks hung in there. However, in the end it was just too much Jonathan Quick....IMO, the premier goalie in the NHL.

The question I am geting left and right is "Who would you rather face in the Conference Finals?" Naturally, with this Home Ice Advantage thing working the Kings' way it would be obvious to say Detroit. HOWEVER, I am just so damned happy to have the Kings back in the Conference Finals that I welcome either opponent. It should be a great series no matter the pairing.

As I said before, it only gets tougher now...

NHL announced the scheduling scenarios for the conference finals. The eastern conference finals are all set and begin on Saturday at 8pm ET. As for the Western Conference Finals: If the Wings win tonight, Game 1 will be on Friday in LA at 9pm ET. I would have preferred to have seen the Wings win it at home the other night. Let's face it, the Wings are going to have a huge uphill battle winning Game 7 on-the-road in Chicago against, arguably, the best team in the league during the regular season. However....
