Elsewhere, Wings are down 2-0 after outshooting Carolina after the 1st period. We need to rally at the Joe this evening.

Not really sure either but down here in Carolina my only choice was the Red Wings broadcast...Was nice listening to Ken Daniels but I would have preferred Tripp Tracy and John Forslund for the Canes.

Sorry to be a spoiler riffjim4069....Wings lookin more like an 8 seed rather than a 7 seed.

BTW I think the last time I seen the Canes were at the Joe was in 2002 when it was for the Stanley Cup.?????

Wings lose 2-1. Columbus also loses to Tampa bay 3-2. So Columbus has to lose tomorrow and Wings gotta beat St. Louis on Sunday to get the 7th seed.

Wings playing like they did earlier in the season of late, since the April push to the playoffs, they are playing .500 hockey, hardly how you want to go into the playoffs.

Well, Columbus won tonight so it looks like they'll get 7th for sure while the Wings stay stuck in 8th regardless on whether they beat the Blues tomorrow.

Yes, this shocked me too, as I have seen St. Louis look very good thru out large parts of the season .... nows a terrible time for them to go into a slump.

That said, they too have a lot of injuries.

Tampa and Washington are tied 0-0 in OT. The Lightning needs 2 points to have home ice advantage for their series against Montreal.
