No "info" after reboot

Earlier tonight, I was forced to reboot because my channels got all screwed up and I was getting the same thing on every channel. After I rebooted, all my channels were fine again, but there was no programming info on any channel. I know after a reboot that there is a period of time it takes for the info to be restored, but this time it never came back, even after a couple of hours. So, I rebooted again and still 3 hours later, no info on any channel.

Is there anything else I can do short of calling Voom?

[VOOM] Re: No "info" after reboot

Before you reboot, take your Voom remote and put it away in a drawer
or somewhere you do not see it (so you will not be tempted to press
ANY button on it). Wait for a minimum of thirty minutes after the
reboot before you take the remote back out and start changing
channels.

Re: [VOOM] Re: No "info" after reboot

This is ridiculous! I had a few friends over to my
house for the 4th of July and the weekend. They loved
the BIG 61" Samsung DLP! and they Loved VOOM! the only
thing they hated was that it kept locking up on them
when flipping through the channels. And as everyone
knows it takes forever to get the programming guide
back. And the low and distorted volume on a few
chanels.
Even as I write this reply I see that the programming
guide is out and only saying "(no info)". My voom box
hasn't locked up in a few days so not sure why the
programming guide is out now!

How is it that D*V and D**h are able to write code for
all the different boxes and get it right and Voom only
has to deal with ONE box that everyone has. I would
think that Voom would have this ONE box all worked out
BEFORE they went live. Is it just me or does it seem
like we are paying Voom to BETA test their system?

As for the putting the remote away for 30 minutes!
that is tottaly absurd! Why?! will voom give me back
credit for the time that I can not change the chanel
from the Voom News 100 while it gets the programming
guide! I want to watch TV programming that I paid for!
not wait 30 minutes to 4 hours for a programming guide
to show up! And yes mine also had trouble receiving
the guide and took upto 4 hours also! Just absurd!

There is a PG problem. It occured yesterday and if you reboot you are stuck with "no info" until VOOM fixes it or they release the new software. You are not alone thousands now have "no info." Just sit tight and wait.

Don't reboot unless absolutely necessary.

RE: [VOOM] Re: No "info" after reboot

I just had to cold boot (unplug power) and after turning it back on, the
guide was back after less than 10 minutes. .. and I changed channels during
that 10 mins.

I finally got my guide back. I had to power off the receiver (standby mode) and then reboot it by holding down the power button for 10 or 20 seconds. I then left it off for a couple hours and when I came back I had my guide info.
