Re: [VOOM] Re: No "info" after reboot
This is ridiculous! I had a few friends over to my
house for the 4th of July and the weekend. They loved
the BIG 61" Samsung DLP! and they Loved VOOM! the only
thing they hated was that it kept locking up on them
when flipping through the channels. And as everyone
knows it takes forever to get the programming guide
back. And the low and distorted volume on a few
chanels.
Even as I write this reply I see that the programming
guide is out and only saying "(no info)". My voom box
hasn't locked up in a few days so not sure why the
programming guide is out now!
How is it that D*V and D**h are able to write code for
all the different boxes and get it right and Voom only
has to deal with ONE box that everyone has. I would
think that Voom would have this ONE box all worked out
BEFORE they went live. Is it just me or does it seem
like we are paying Voom to BETA test their system?
As for the putting the remote away for 30 minutes!
that is tottaly absurd! Why?! will voom give me back
credit for the time that I can not change the chanel
from the Voom News 100 while it gets the programming
guide! I want to watch TV programming that I paid for!
not wait 30 minutes to 4 hours for a programming guide
to show up! And yes mine also had trouble receiving
the guide and took upto 4 hours also! Just absurd!
