Probably their one and only uplink engineer has been rather busy. Seriously, I don't think it's proper to call hardware failures on Echo3 a "blunder". At least it's not a blunder by Dish Network operations, but rather by the manufacturer (whose name escapes me at the moment.) Even that is a stretch for such an old sat at EOL.I wonder if the blunders at 61.5 has anything to do with this.
Why can't DISH use the spare satellite up there to add more hd this week? I mean it is there to back up the failing sat at 61.5 , so why not use it?

Thats a new idea lets start to remove the SD channels nobody watches and replace them with some new HD . Has this ever been done before. Lets look to the future and hope for HD only channels.
