no signal after reconnecting dish

I had to disconnect my Dish Network vip 622 to change carpet. After reconnecting, it is not getting signal.
This is connected to 2 tvs.
I think I connected correctly since I can watch my DVR on both tvs and see the dish Guide.
Just not able to watch live tv.
Keep getting message that is is looking for signal. When I check option 6-1-1 on menu, 0 signal strength.

I ran a test and it says that there are less satelilites.
Dish phone support does not really help, they do not know how to troubleshoot over the phone.
Anyone have any ideas I can try.
 
Have you tried to 'reset ' the box?

i.e. turning off the box, then push the power button on for ten seconds,
before releasing it.

Alternative: Turn off the box. Unplug the box for over ten seconds.
Plug the box back in, and turn it on.

Either of these will reset the hard disk drive.

I hope this helps.

Dish might be uplinking new TV network information today. This might have
something to do with this. (July 9, 2008)
See 'Any Discussion Out There?' posting earlier on this site.

Whenever something like this happens, I become concerned over 'exactly'
what has been downloaded into the dvr / receiver.

Any ideas?
