North Jersey Voom Users (bergen county)

Are there any Voom users in north Jersey. I would like your feed back on quality of service and installation. I personally am waiting to see the release of the DVR and home networking services. Direct TV not an option due to tree's. Tired of cable dragging their feet.

In Passaic County

I'm in Passaic County (Clifton) and have been Vooming for almost a year.

I like what Voom offers. You'll see the complaints about what they aren't offering yet (dvr, ppv, etc.) and my complaints are no different in this regard.

The local channel situation is getting better every day. They have been testing the new combiner in the City and our locals are coming in better every day.

As far as installation...well, let's just say it all depends on who does the install. In this area, they've been sending people out from Staten Island. Out of the 3 people I've had out here for various reasons, one guy was REALLY good and the other 2 were so so. The one guy who was REALLY good no longer works there. The other 2 guys aren't nearly as bad as some of the horror stories you may have read about but they could be better.

All in all, Voom in this area is in pretty decent shape.
