I have a friend who worked at HDNet, they could not agree with Dish in terms of the fees for HDNet and HDNet Movies. It is highly likely both channels will be removed.

Dish should fire the arrogant Charlie. His hard-nosed attitude is driving away customers, and his employees also have a high attrition rate.

I don't think he is going anywhere. Is he not founder and CEO?

If these channels go, Charlie is a bigger idiot then any of us can imagine.....

and that would really make that Platinum HD package that they touted tonight SO worth $10 extra. Maybe they'll add World Fishing Network 2 as a substitute.

I am absolutely frank here. I am a newcomer, but have visited this for several months. I have switched to DTV 3 months ago. They are not much better either.

Ok I emailed Mark last night and he replied back just after I went to bed.

Here is Marks reply to me.

So there you go, this rumor is NOT TRUE.

And there you have it.

There could be problems with Mark Cuban channels but I don't believe that would be only related to Dishnetwork.

Afterall, HDnet did lose their weekly nhl games to the nhl network this year.

I can't remember the last time I have watched HDNet.

And if they don't carry MLS games this season I won't be watching them at all.

Just will make the decision to drop Dish a bit easier; the Dolans just have to add BBCA and RFD-TV and I'm almost all set to switch to CV.

BTW: I put no credence in a post claiming a channel is going away if it doesn't provide any basis for the claim. Anyone can post anything, doesn't make it so. It's just that I've only been watching HDNet for NHL and MLS and it looks like neither will survive.

Again as confimed to me by Mark Cuban himself, HDNet and HDNet movies is not going anywhere and will remain on Dish Network.

My favorite HDNet show is Art Mann Presents. :) I would love to be on his camera crew for a night. :D
