Reminder for those who missed it, including myself>4pm Central on the PBS National Feed (c-band) is a repeat of last weeks Nova, detailing the Feb 15 meteorite that landed in Russia. Somehow I managed to miss it twice the first day it aired.

I think lucky that the entry angle wasn't steeper. If it were say 80°, I think, something like Meteor Crater would have resulted. A lot less 'viewable' time also.

I looked it up and set the recorder.
Then noticed "Rise of the Drones" from January.
Guess I'd better pay more attention. ;)

I'm surprised Putin didn't launch on us over that, somebody must've told him we didn't do it!

Recorded them both, but I haven't watched either.
I find recording is easier than watching.
Yea, quicker and less time consuming. :)

I wrote both onto a data DVD for a buddy, in 720p.
His Samsung bluray player will handle it just fine.
Now he can ignore 'em, too! :up ;)
