So there are plenty of games out there that we play from time to time, either new or old. Thought I'd start a thread for people to casually comment about the games we're playing, if anything, and why/what brings us back to them?

Personally I've been playing a ton of WoW... and console-wise some occasional NCAA 09 in an online Dynasty that is about to end probably. Recently played the hell out of the UFC demo, and if you're a fan of any kind of fighting game, I'd try it. I couldn't care less about UFC, but this game is fun to play... its on XBL and on PSN.

Also on PSN is a demo for inFamous... a lot of fun if you enjoyed open world games like Just Cause and Crackdown. It's out as of yesterday, but probably just going to rent it. This is a PS3 exclusive.

There are a lot of games that come out that maybe there wouldn't be enough discussion to start their own thread about them... maybe we can toss stuff like that in here too and if anything gets enough substance we can start a new thread for it.

I picked up Soul Calibur IV (PS3) a few weeks ago for $10 at BB to play with my GF, who really likes fighting games, but I've found myself really getting into it and trying to earn all the Honors I can.

And last night, for a more relaxing experience, I got back into Lego Star Wars, which I hadn't played since last summer. I got frustrated controlling vehicles with the sixaxis, but last night discovered how to switch to controlling them with the analog stick. Now my goal is to at least finish Story Mode before finally taking the plastic off the Bioshock game I got a couple months ago.

I just purchased a new X box 360. It came with free Halo 3 and Fable 2 games so I have been playing Fable 2. Waiting for Tiger Woods 10 to come out on June 8th. :)

I'm playing through Battlestations Pacific right now. I still play Team Fortress a good bit with a group I have been playing with since The Orange Box came out.

TF2 on PC or console? I just got the PC version after the free/half price weekend and I love it, which of course means my wife hates it because I keep kicking her off the big computer. I don't know why she complains, seeing as she has a perfectly well working laptop she can use on our bed, albeit slower and less cool looking..

Was playing COD 5 on the 360 over the winter. Have now gone back to GTA IV. Trying to finish the story mode.

I should get back into GTA IV.. I don't think I'm even on the 3rd island yet. Right now I've been jumping schizophrenically between Team Fortress 2 (PC), Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, Rock Band/GH and whatever comes in from Gamefly.

I went back to playing COD 4.

I've been playing 4 as well. Thursday nights is the gaming night with 4-5 co-workers. We mix it up. GTA IV, COD 4 or 5, and Vegas 2. We played some racing games once in a while, but I sold my PGR4 and Forza 2. Looks like there's good racing games coming out later this year and Q1 2010.

I usually drag the 360 out to my main system in the living room on the weekends and play GH Metallica w/ the wife.

Friday is my gaming groups big game night. If anyone wants to join it, just let me know. It is called XMG (Xbox Mature Gamers) and it is by invitation only right now. There is about 200 of us on the site and we are looking for more members. The premise of the group is to not have to play with screaming kids and people who sing and all that crap.

Wii- Punchout and having a ball. Best thing on the wii for me. Also turn over super punchout.
Originally release for the Super Nintendo, but playing it on the wii.

PS3- Infamous, I got it yesterday and I'm not feeling it. I hate the camera movement with the right thumb stick.

PC- X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged Edition. Very good game, I'm shocked at how well it plays. I thought it was going to be garbage. Also turn over super punchout. Originally release for the Super Nintendo, but playing it on the PC with Super Nintend Emulator. I occasionally play Left for Dead and COD5.

Xbox360- Ninja Blade, I'm having fun with this game also.

I had to invert the horizontal movement of the camera in inFamous, but otherwise it doesnt seem detracting or different from any other game that has a free camera like that.

Wolverine is one of my favorite games of the year so far.

Xbox 360 - still thoroughly addicted to Fallout 3 (and now trying to hit level 30) plus an occasional bit of GTA IV.

PC - Guild Wars - still grinding titles in preparation for GWII, as my ranger "Jake Dare".

360

I would love an invite.
