hey all, i am looking for a somewhat inexpensive NPRM for my 10ft. mesh dish, i live in an apartment complex right now and have an idea of where i could place my dish to use but do not want to plant it in concrete yet until i find a more suitable living suituation. any suggestions on where i might purchase one, (or maybe construct one myself if not too difficult) Thx Christopher

The 10' dish I just got has a shop fabricated (i.e., not mass produced) NPRM made from 3"x3"x1/4" angle iron. Overall dimensions are 6'x6' with two cross bars that the pole is mounted to. There's about 36' total of angle iron in the NPRM.

Floating slab? It's NP-RM (Not Permanent - Remaining Mobile) They can be lifted and moved. Weigh about a ton. Mine has been 'in service' since the early 80's. Look at the bottom of page http://theho.web.fc2.com/BUD/3469/

Many unused dishes on business roofs. Most commercial roof installs are on NPRM. Doesn't hurt to ask if the dish is still in use and if they want to get rid of that liability on their roof.

Thanks Titanium!, just remembered i saw 2 mesh dishes on top of a closed hotel a little north of me, will have to do some inquiring about them.
