Premieres 4/15 in CSI: Miami's timeslot. I don't see this one succeeding. It looks like a cheap imitation of ABC's Rookie Blue, which I like a lot. I will watch it once and give it a try.

Because CBS seems to be supported by Murder Kill Death shows or Cop shows and also Comedy shows. Seems like a great combination. They could come out with Comedies where people die laughing and the Cops have to solve it. THen you could get the best of both genres.

I watched it passively while ironing last night. To be honest, I don't know if the show was terrible or if I am now burned-out on Cop of the Week dramas, but I found myself more interested in pressing the wrinkles out of my dress shirts than watching this show. Although my shirts now have sharply ironed creases, I wasn't impressed with NYC 22. Get it? I wasn't impressed.

Well it maybe already be done.

"The cop drama debuted on April 15th to a disappointing 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.43 million total viewers. It was tied for second place in the all-important demo but first in overall viewers.

Last Sunday night’s episode dropped to a 1.4 in the demo with 7.52 million. It was third in the demo and second in total viewers.

Unfortunately, those numbers aren’t nearly good enough to be renewed by CBS. NYC 22 is the lowest-rated show currently on the network and even CSI: NY — a show that’s in danger of being cancelled and airs on a little watched night like Fridays — performs better. "

Yep, I'm not feeling any love toward NYC 22...but CBS appears to be hell bent on getting rid of Unforgettable and A Gifted Man.

This show reminded me of Rookie Blue on ABC. I liked Rookie Blue ,but I'm not in the mood for another duplicate show on Cbs.
