not picked up for fall. abc is retooling the pilot for mid season consideration. those who have seen the pilot say it s good but needs tweaking. abc expects to decide later this year if they order it for january.

meanwhile, stumbled across a website that reviews each pilot in detail. some facts. theo gets his gold shield from chief arthur fancy. diane russell is a lieutenant and squad commander. and andy is murdered in a brothel.

officially dead as of mid august. actors have been released. abc decided that although the pilot was good, it wasn't good enough to reach the bar set by the original series. was looking forward to seeing bill brochtrup and kim delaney reprise their roles.
