Official - I have a Hopper 3 Thread!

Installer here now. It is his first install, so we will see how it goes! I am ready for some coaching if needed due to all the great advice and feedback on this forum!!
 
mine yesterday it was his first install i had to help him out hooking up the cables and all that good stuff he did the software part.
 
If you go to the settings menu there should be a standby category. This is where you control how long before the Hopper goes into standby with no activity. Assuming that was the case for you. Your wife had the Hopper on but did not press any buttons on the remote for 4 hours so it went to standby due to no user activity. Normally the Hopper will not turn off until you turn it off as long as you are interacting with it.
OK, thanks that is what I was looking . I turned it off--it was on 4 hours....
 
Have you checked to see if the 4K Joey software is in the available software list on the H3?
