Yeah, I keep seeing that mentioned in the various Dish threads on here. I'm guessing Dish planned to include it in one of their new receivers but they just forgot? Or maybe it was something that was being beta tested a long time ago and was just never released to regular customers yet?

With the Hopper 3 having 16 tuners, there is no need for a red recording light. You keep seeing it here as a joke to one of our members who really misses that light 16 tuners or not.
