Also how come there's eastern and western arc if its just the same channels? Or does 61.5 have extended programming

Dish made those for Channel Master, they also marketed their own line of DTVpal tuners and DTVpal DVRs that were only for receiving OTA.

Probably next month I'm going to get a bell expressvu receiver and see what free previews it can pick up just for fun. Should I get a 3100, 4100 or 6131

none. Their coverage barely comes into the US. If you were in Northern NY, MN, Washington etc you'd have some signal. But south of there nope

No, it doesn't. The new UI was more than just an interface upgrade. It was a complete system upgrade.

I opened the door and its empty. I also went into menu and clicked on ota and it said connect a module

It's empty because it doesn't have the OTA module and that is why it says connect a module. You will need to find a module to receive OTA.

Here's my switch setup. Is it called a matrix? We'll anyways its NOT professional by any way but I think its cool. And yes you're not hallucinating I got 119 110on an eastern arc. All I did is put a dph lnb on a plus, aim it to 119 and got 110 and 119 somehow. And the dp quad for 61.5 just for fun

Here's my experiment I've been working on: 119 110 on an eastern arc on a plus and 61.5 on a 500 tied to ea. It works surprisingly
