How many channels can one LNB handle in a 18" D" Dish and what satellite sends the most SD channels. With E* with their regular 18" inch dish you got 2 satellites with one LNB it seemed.

The single LNB D* dish if pointed at the 101 will get ALL the core channels from D*, all in SD. Outside of the new channels on the 103 the majority of the D* channels are still on the 101.

Regardless of the dish size a true single LNB aiming at one orbital slot will see only that one orbital slot. If the satellite at that slot transmits 100 channels you can "see" them, but if the satellite there only transmits 25, then that is all it will see; the number of LNBs a dish has relates to the number of orbital locations to be received/looked at, not the total number of possible channels.

How many channels does the 101 transmit in SD. What seems to be the actual capacity of the 101
