I have a who cares channel for ya guys, cvc will be carrying sony tv by the end of january rumor has it....
CVC will be able to carry up to 4 lines on optimum voice(residential) as of 1/1/07

4 lines for residential, in "limited release", and 8 lines available for business. They can also port VoIP numbers now, as long as they are local.

The big quiestion is will they charge you full price for a second line of something like 5-10 bucks as a fax line.

You can currently get 4 lines for business, and yes each line costs the same. We have OOL and 3 OV lines, one is fax, at one of our sites and the 1 year promotion rate is $29.95 for OOL and each OV line for a total of $119.90.

For residential multi-line they are running a promo. $14.95 for each additional line, I can't remember if its 6 or 12 months. Once the promo ends, each additional line is $29.95. The new Inno modems they have started deploying are capable of 4 voice lines.

Right now residential multi line is in limited release, certain parts of LI only.
