Openbox Recording question (duration setting)

Has anyone figured out how to set the recording duration when using the Record button on the remote? I can hit it twice, and then change the "02:00" to whatever, but it doesn't stop at 2 minutes, or what ever else I change it to. I've squinted at the owners manual so much, and tried this and that combination of buttons, that I've got a headache.
I have firmware ver. HDS2-10-07-11-072AMT and, I believe, the ver 2 remote(if that makes a difference).

the 02:00 is NOT two minutes, it is two hours.

If you want to test it, change that to 00:02
