I have noticed when blind scanning with my openbox that it will sometimes knock out parts or my channel list when it finds a duplicate. I will rename a channel and when I scan again it will change it back to the other name. Has anyone else noticed this? It is very annoying. I like my other receivers that will automatically know when a duplicate channel is scanned. Is there a possible firmware fix for this?

Firmware issue, has been this way in all versions as far as I can tell. A manually edited channel name will be changed back to original in a blind scan. There is a work around - I believe it's changing the SID with the editor. Upon a later blind scan, you will get a duplicate that you can remove. I've also run into a dupe, when I've manually entered TP info, and did a TP scan. A subsequent Blind scan finds the same TP a few MHZ different, and logs the same channels. >>sometimes knock out parts or [of ?] my channel list<< You mean it erases channels?? Haven't seen mine do that.
