OTA channel problem with my new 211 receiver

I just bought a Vip 211 receiver to replace my old 811 receiver and I'm having OTA channel problems.

I can scanned all the OTA channels(In system setup, local channel), the signal strength are all fine. But the channels are not showing up in my guide and I can't jump directly to it.

For example, 4-1 NBC, I can input 0041 on my 811 to jump to it, but not on VIP 211.

btw: I'm not subscribing DISH local channels.

Try entering "00401"; make sure you are in "all channel" on guide; if you don't subscribe to locals through E* you won't get the guide data. I hope this helps.

If they don't show up in yellow in the EPG, you won't be able to tune to them. Try the scan and save again.
