Well that was already done when they went with the Flex pack 6 months ago. They just separated the locals from their regular programming pack and lowered the price of the pack by that amount and charged for the locals now at $10.00. That was also done so people can stop taking locals if they want to and lower their programming price paid.

I haven't heard of anyone successfully dropping locals and cutting their bill- lately.

Now if only Dish would do that for Welcome Pack. ;)

Locals, $10.00.
Not new added months ago with no extra charge for the Top packages. It happened after Flex and to illustrate that $10 is part of what you are paying for the package. Some are hoping that at some point it will be like Flex and you can drop the locals and save $10. It's not an association with the OTA dongle.

So I ordered the dual tuner dongle on Amazon and it is almost here. Is it not supported yet? I want to hook my antenna to my hopper 3 to get my locals.

Sent from my Pixel using the SatelliteGuys app!
