Right after L 185 the OTA channel I was having problems recording...recorded. Was that a fluke or a fix in L185 for my problem. If a fix my biggest problem is favorites.

All I can say is that L185 probably had some fixes in it that Dish didn't release publicly, so it's certainly possible.

With L185 I finally got CBS on timer recording. The first attempt with L186 failed so I am back where I was. Any suggestions or getting it back?

Also. It seems that periodically I have to reset display to 1080i. Is this something to do with the automatic reboot each night setting default back to 480p?

I had the same problem with the display setting going to 480p after I did the power cord reboot yesterday. I checked today and it was still set for 1080i, so I hope that the default to 480p happens after a software update or powercord reboot.

I've seen my 921 occasionally reset to 480p after a power cycle reboot, but it doesn't do it everytime.
