Anyone watching the new Josh Brolin show Outer Range on Amazon Prime?
It feels like Yellowstone meets Stranger Things. First two episodes are out and I was pretty intrigued by it, although I feel like I need to rewatch a few scenes.
I agree - I also hope it is not filmed so dark all the time.I watched episode 1 today, and it's going to take a couple more I think, before I decide whether to stick with it or not.
The counterpart to being out of focus. Even many of the landscape shots appear to have faked depth of field.I agree - I also hope it is not filmed so dark all the time.
Which was intentional. The counterpart to being out of focus. Even many of the landscape shots appear to have faked depth of field.
The head scratching will continue.Watched the first two episodes last night. Weird. Really scratching my head after the end of episode 2. Continue tonight.
I agree with you on both. I got fed up with Outer Range and quit watching after 5 or 6 episodes. Maybe it gets better as well.I started bingeing Night Sky last week, though I heard some complaints that it was slow. It roughly has a similar premise as Outer Range (mysterious secret portal-type thingy on someone's property). It's so much better than Outer Range. Once you get past the first couple of episodes (which are a bit slow but engaging thanks to great acting), it really picks up. And Sissy Spacek is so good in this.
Not really. The ending of Outer Range raises more questions than resolves, adding to the frustration. Just not enough payoff IMO.I agree with you on both. I got fed up with Outer Range and quit watching after 5 or 6 episodes. Maybe it gets better as well.
If the scenery weren't consistently blurred, it might make for a passable screen saver. This show is too slow for my taste and make you fall asleep....
