Pansat 2700: How Does It Work?help

Hi:
What is the difference amount all those type of pansat?
I willing to purchase PANSAT 2700 butr I really don't know how it works.Basically, does it mean that having that product, we dont have to pay anymore money to Dish or comcast or any other compagnies and we can see all channels for free?I need more information before bitting on e-bay.I leave in Silver Spring ,Maryland 20904.USA
