Does it still ask for other passwords? Does it offer the option of eliminating them?

Specifically I'd like to get rid of the Channel List editor password nag too...

I just checked it, and it still requires a password for "channel edit" and "Factory setting". Not designed for you , apparently , GH .

that si the one drawback of a pansat...it likes to hang on two types of TP's
-data
-channels with no name...it scans for like 3-4 minutes then logs "TV2" or something

I have a 2500a Pansat that is the same which is why it isn't used as a primary blind scan. I will try with the side arrows to see if it will speed up or go to next transponder. Thanks for the hint qwert.

The 2800 is setup as the blindscanner for my 1.2M dish ( CS8000 driving the motor) . I'm liking the functionality of this new setup !
