I was trying to use my pansat 3500sd and in the menus I am unable to read the lower part of the screen. Is there a way to modify the resolution or the picture so I can see everything? none of my other receivers have this problem. I have it hooked up to the yellow, white and red rca outputs.

I havent heard of that honestly. Even my old 1500 that is set for 16:9 still shows the menu in 4x3

but try what bama1 put

Maybe pic another aspect setting on his tv? I have one or two on my little hd tv that will wipe out most graphics at the bottom or top of some video.

OK I figured it out. The Pansat menu did not change it so I accessed the TV menu and switched it to Automatic from Super Zoom. I have never had to mess with that before but now the problem is solved. Thanks for the help.

I tried to reproduce that with my 3500 and couldn't get it to do that... Was going to suggest a TV setting, glad you found the trouble.
Cheers!
-C.
