Since I've had the AzBox my Pansat 9200hd has been inactive even though it's blind scan is a bit better than the AzBox. I want to set the Pansat up for the occasional in the clear feeds on 61.5 W, 72.7 W and 77.0 W. I have acquired (in shipment) a bootleg board for the Pansat and want to set it up. My question is do I need to load eye patch software into the Pansat for the board to work. I realize I could experiment, but thought someone might know the answer. Also, I read somewhere that Pansat has made a deal with Charlie to report any one who has or ever had eye patch software on their box. That would eliminate me (if ever needed) from sending my Pansat to the factory for repair.

If the feeds are ITC, would you even need any special software? Seems like the regular firmware would work..
