Hey Hey We're the Monkees!

:D

Bonanza

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjdRgBAY278&feature=related]YouTube - Bonanza Theme Song[/ame]

Hoss and Little Joe, Adam and Ben! You cannot forget these gentlemen!

I wish Bonanza would come to DVD or even Blu-Ray with an official, season-by-season collection. They started with Gunsmoke on DVD by season, but releases are few and far between...

Regardless of some errors, that was a lot of fun! I don't know how the rest of you feel about the musical selections I chose, but they sure make me feel great!

It's just feel good music all around.

I do not know what it is about U-uTube, but whenever I bring up a thread that has UTube my computer locks up for about an hour, unless I hard reboot the thing. Since the forums no longer have the titles of the threads in the next/previous I get to reboot way too often.

Sorry RV1pop,

I don't understand why it is this way. Ice warned me about it before as the You-Tube links are not well liked by some users internet connections. Especially those on dial up.

I try to avoid these little escapades into the You-tube fantasy, but sometimes I have a few beers and get feeling giddy and want to share some of my music with others. It works fine for most people, but for you and others it is a pain.

My apologies for the inconvenience, Rvpop!

Well heck folks, I don't know what to say.

I Love music and I love life. How could I not feel the passion within some of these songs? Maybe you don't understand me, but I have a real zest for life! As I listen to these musical selections, I am uplifted and feel great.

I think my favorite is Sukiyaki! That is just so beautiful that I cannot describe it. I don't know the Japanese language, but it sounds so fullfilling to my spirit that it is the most uplifting and heartfelt song I could ever possibly imagine. If tears fall upon my cheek as I listen, they would be tears of joy.

I sincerely want everyone to understand that I don't take my little YOU TUBE concerts lightly. These songs mean something to me, they are powerful influences upon my heart and soul. They may just be simply golden oldies to some of you, but they are my link to God. It is through this music and the words therin that I find a spiritual foundation and a link to my fellow man.

Maybe you find this as a bit silly, that's ok. I don't expect everyone to understand my personal outlet. What I would like you to realize is that I feel the passion for life in general. What you feel is important to you is also important to me because we are all connected together in this manner and that is so beautiful.

So, here I am, as I am... Your friend and your brother in life as a friend in spirit and as in everlasting life.

Although I am of European anscestry, this song (sung in Japanese) has to be the most beautiful song to touch my ears! The video here is excellent, too!

Dude You are having way too much fun!!! :music

Maybe you should get ahold of Wayne-o at freedbs.org and setup your own channel! :eureka:

You can still call it "RADAR JAMS" or "JAMMIN' RADAR". Better yet how about something on the line of "WAYNE-O's WORLD" ! ;)

There are so many things in this world that are "FUN" that it is hard to pinpoint the best ones.

For music, I tell everyone that I enjoy everything from AC/DC to ZZ Top and from Alabama to Dwight Yokum and from Bach to Yanni! That covers most of it! You can't get much more diverse than that.

That is the joy in life, being versatile and having many interests. There is just so much out there, you cannot limit yourself to any one particular genre. You must experience it all.

btw, i cannot view the first page because firefox and google chrome both lock down if there are too many videos in 1 post:(.
it is not a bandwidth issue here, as i have a 12 mbps cable connection
and i dont think its the computer, i am running ubuntu linux with a pentium 4 overclocked to 3.4 ghz and 512 mb of pc3200 running in dual channel mode at 800 mhz, could use more ram, but i have ubuntu tweaked to run exceptionally well on this system, and i rarely have to use too much swap space.
firefox and chrome just dont seem to like more than somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 youtube videos in a post :(
i do like the ones that i can see, though:)

That is interesting. I wasn't aware of that as an issue. Also, I don't know why my first post in the thread duplicated everything, that was not done intentionally. I don't know if I made a mistake or if there were other factors involved.

But, I am glad that you like what you are able to view.

My understanding is that the Youtube player requires a CRAP-TON of memory (in the neighborhood of at 100MB+ sometimes) and with FireFox already being a memory hog, that might be your problem. I haven't putzed with google crome enough to know, but i would venture to guess it's probably a memory hog too.

For my music, I usually listen to BBC Radio One. I won't post my music, don't wanna make anyone feel old. ;)
