PC monitor as TV?

I have a 17 inch LCD monitor that is not being used. What would be the least expensive way to turn it into a hi def TV. I would like to make it my TV 2 on my VIP622. It would be a great counter top TV in the kitchen.

I have the same thing. But the problem I have is that it only has a VGA connection on it, meaning I can pretty much only hook it up to a PC. Also, remember that the TV 2 output on the 622 is only standard def, not HD.

You can't get HD on TV2. The 622 only sends HD signals through TV1.

If your monitor's DVI port supports HDCP you can connect it with a DVI to HDMI adapter on TV1
