Granted maybe he shouldn't of shown the lights out after the fight but the guy did drop his gloves it wasn't just Asham. Fighting is allowed so there should be no fine or suspension. The capital player went after Letang, he hit him in his head and took off his helmet, Asham did what he was suppose to do, protect the star players.

I agree...could have done without Asham's gestures after the fight...and at this point Asham probably regrets doing them...but fighting is part of the game. Period.

Actually, Asham's punch obviously knocked Beagle out on his feet, and Beagle was very lucky that Asham held onto his jersey and let Beagle down to the ice slowly. Otherwise Beagle's problems could have been exacerbated by a face plant into the ice from five feet up.

Every fighter knows if they drop the gloves, this kind of thing can happen. Reminded me of Joey Kocur, who was always one right hand away from ending someone's night in a fight.
