Some dude in my area is offering up a 7ft Perfect 10 Mesh for 100$ and 200$ for a C/Ku Paraclipse... thoughts?

He claims he's going out of business and is unloading his gear but I never heard of him so am a bit skeptic.

Cheers, K

I have a 10ft Perfect Ten I paid $100 for (got a ball-screw Venture actuator also), and it's a great dish. I don't think I'd pay $100 for only a 7 footer though. Maybe if it was in the box...

I know nothing about the Paraclipse dishes.

Really depends on what you want... If I wanted something pretty to stare at in my yard and was only going for C-band, I would install the Paraclipse in a heartbeat. If I only could have one dish and needed good C and KU performance, the Perfect 10.

Paraclipse dishes are built like a tank and look awesome. They perform good on C-band, but rather poorly on KU. Perfect 10 (late model) dishes and good performers on both C and KU.
