Wow, what a great time at the SatelliteGuys Reception.

I spent about ten minutes talking to her.

She looks way better in those uncompressed pictures than I've ever seen her on a compressed dish broadcast

By the way folks.. I put in my request, practically begging, for them to let us use OUR OWN external HDs for the 622. All three of the E* folks said that is what they would personally like to see happen, but "they don't make that decision." (I'm sorry I can't remember their names, other than Leslie, but I am not good with names).

I also got reassurances that we will not lose our DVR functionality!

This was a lot of fun. It was well worth the four hour drive and the cost of the hotel room. The sponsors, especially Lion AV went ALL OUT for this party; we had food and drinks throughout the night, and then a late night chinese buffet for those who stuck around into the night. Ilya, Digital Dude, and Scott did a great job pulling this together.

Thanks, Scott and crew for the pics. Nice of some of you to let us see what you look like and connect with your names. Hope to see many of you at CES. One day, I'll have to try to make Cedia just to see it. It's a good time of the year, usually for me to get away.

It looks like there is a little wide angle to the lens that was used.
Very sharp.
I have an Olympus C-5060 that takes similar pix.
Great to have the other pictures too.

If anyone has pics from last night please post them. I am looking for photos of the SatelliteGuys group shots we did.

It was amazing when we took the group shots with mega flashbulbs going off.

It was an amazing night and thank everyone again for coming out and spending the night with us! I do hope you went home with a great prize!

Not sure about Scott's camera, but all of mine were taken with a C-5060, just like yours. It is a great camera.

Mine is a Nikon D50 Camera. With a standard 28-100mm Nikkor Lense, with no ride angle (even though you need one to get me in the shot fully)
