Please share your experience and suggest software able to help in satellite dish installation, using a Sat PC Tuner card or USB Device.

For starters: FastSatfinder

"The most complete virtual satellite finder. It will help you to setup a satellite system and easily find the signal from a satellite. In fact, you do not need any device other than a pc dvb-s tuner in order to use virtual satellite finder. It supports DVB-S PC Tuners of different hardware manufacturers, such as TechnoTrend, Digital Everywhere, TechniSat, Hauppauge, Prof, Tevii, Pinnacle, TwinHan, DVB World, GeniaTech, Acorp...."

FastSatfinder is a handy tool for dish installation and maintenance. Not only one can calculate the angles necessary for installing satellite dishes, but also monitor signal strength / quality in real time while aligning the dish. This is an important difference between FastSatfinder and similar soft.

While you tune the dish, the program keeps notifying by voice in a selected language about signal readings, so there is no need to look at the PC screen and have it close by. It actually replaces sat signal meter for those, who don't need it every day professionally. Just take your laptop and USB Sat Tuner to the roof or backyard to tune a new dish. Ideal for RV owners or when heading outdoors in a family minivan with a mobile dish. See cool screenshots. :up

Anyone can suggest another similar program?
