Here are my fta dishes and a parabolic grid needed to reach a distant (7 mile) Sprint tower for internet connection.

I have my old WildBlue dish converted and pointed at 125W works great.

I have my old WildBlue dish converted and pointed at 125W works great.

I was surprised how much signal that tiny dish pulled in, especially with that second reflector on it. It seems to focus the signal tighter this way as I tried setting it up by extending the distance to the lnb like a conventional offset dish. There was a major difference in the gain. I tried for 125W but trees got me.

Yeah I did the same thing. I tried extending the arms etc.....but ended up doing what you did, and yes much better gain.

Klickitat county, Washington! come on! Five fixed or two motorized, minimum. Sea Vans must be on a foundation and fastened down, however. Temporary placements are not allowed. (East of HWY 97)!
With all those dishes on top it is no longer a sea can but a NPGM :)
