Picture Degradation DVR 510

I am on my 2nd 510 and in both cases after about a year, the picture becomes noticably "blochier", especially during dark scenes. The darker the scene the more uneven the picture and after awhile an after-image is left behind.
Its almost as if the DVR can't keep up.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there a remedy?

isn't the 510 a E* DVR?

if so I think our first time poster may have posted in the wrong forum.

Umm.... What is a 510... DTV have a R10 & R15 DVR ...no 510

yep you are in the wrong forum. 510's are E* receivers.
